How Are You Starting Your Conversations with Leads?
So I’ve been tweaking how I start chats with new leads on WhatsApp. Sometimes I get replies, sometimes I get ghosted 😅
I’m curious - how are you guys opening your convos?
Do you go straight to the point? Or warm them up a bit first?
Drop a sample opener or tactic that’s working for you 👇 I think we can all learn a few tricks from each other.
I start casual. Something like: “Hey [Name], saw your interest in [product] - wanted to see if you had any questions.” It feels more natural.
I always try to personalize. If I know their biz niche, I’ll say something like “Hi, I help [type of business] boost sales using XYZ.” It creates curiosity.
I tried being too formal at first - didn’t work lol. Now I use voice notes. Way better response rate.
I start with value. Like “Hey, saw you run a small clothing brand - I’ve got a simple offer that could boost your monthly sales. Can I share?”
If they came from my ad, I just say: “Hey, thanks for clicking through! Was there something specific you wanted to know about the offer?”
