Your Thumbnail vs. Your Title β Which One Really Gets the Click?
Hey YouTube fam! π
Letβs settle this once and for all:
π What actually makes people click on your video β the thumbnail or the title?
Some say the thumbnail grabs attention, others believe the title is what seals the deal.
Personally, Iβve had a video with a weak thumbnail and solid title still get viewsβ¦ and other times, a fire thumbnail but no clicks at all π€¦ββοΈ
π§ Letβs hear your thoughts:
- Do you spend more time on your title or thumbnail when uploading?
- Have you tested different styles or split-tested results?
- Any tools you recommend for designing or analyzing them?
Letβs help each other out π¬π¨βπ«
Thumbnail all day! If it doesnβt catch my eye, Iβm scrolling.
I use Canva for thumbnails but struggle with coming up with good titles π©
Both are important, but Iβve seen CTR improve when I switch to bright-colored thumbnails.
I always A/B test on TubeBuddy and itβs crazy how much a title change can affect views
I think it's the combination of both β people notice the thumbnail, then check the title before clicking.
