The Federal Government has officially launched the portal for the 2025 National Youth Conference (aka Youth Confab) - and they’re calling on 36,000 young Nigerians to step up and be part of shaping the country’s future.

No cap - this isn’t just another “youth summit” where people come, dance, and go. This is youth-led, non-partisan, and policy-focused.

🧠 What’s This Confab All About?

According to the Minister behind it, the Confab is about creating:

“Youth-informed, youth-approved, and youth-led solutions that directly speak to the needs of Nigeria’s young population.”

In short: They want our input - and they’re making space for real youth voices to influence national decisions.

This year’s Confab is about action, not just talk. It’s a space to:

• Network with changemakers across Nigeria & the diaspora
• Present real ideas & policy proposals
• Be part of national transformation discussions
• Join a platform that may directly shape the next phase of Nigeria’s youth policy

🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏽 Who Can Apply?

If you fall into any of these categories, then yes, you’re eligible:

• Students
• Entrepreneurs
• Creatives & content creators
• Community leaders
• Young professionals
• Nigerian youth in the diaspora

Age Range: 18 to 35 years old (with a small 10% quota for those aged 36–40)

You can apply as a:

• Delegate (full participation)
• Observer (to watch, learn, and submit proposals)

📍 Where Will Delegates Come From?

They’re selecting people from:

• All 774 LGAs
• All 360 federal constituencies
• Nigerian youth in the diaspora

So yes - whether you're in Lagos, Lokoja, or living abroad, you can apply.

Good news: Applicants can also submit policy proposals for discussion. If your idea is solid, it could make its way into the national agenda.
